Training: Sustainability Manager in Companies (SMEs)
Qualification as a Sustainability Manager with Certificate
Why Sustainability Management?
Embedding sustainability strategically in companies is no longer just an added bonus – it has become a key management task for the future. A systematic sustainability management system helps optimise resources, structure processes more efficiently and make social and ecological responsibility visible.
Our training course qualifies participants to be sustainability managers and supports them over several months with implementing effective sustainability management within their organisation – with firm know-how, a clear structure, and space for practical application and peer exchange.
The course is aimed at companies and organisations across all industries – regardless of whether a reporting obligation already exists. It also provides a strong foundation to start voluntary reporting, e.g. under the VSME standard.
Note: For organisations in the social economy, we offer a specialised course. You can find it here.

From learning to doing - practical guidance
Learning in the workplace - modular, practical, effective
Our course combines further training with direct application in your own organization. The content is divided into modules that build on each other - with time for implementation, reflection and exchange.
6 x web seminars
In interactive online sessions, we teach the basics, procedures and methods for introducing sustainability management - step by step and with your practice in mind.
At the end, you will know how to carry out a materiality analysis and prepare a sustainability report in accordance with VSME.
5 x practical phases
Between modules, you apply what you have learned directly in the work context. In this way, you not only anchor your knowledge in theory, but also implement concrete processes in your organisation.
3 x group consultations
In moderated online exchange sessions, we address your practical questions, clarify ambiguities and share experiences - in a collegial, open and solution-oriented manner.
This modular concept means that implementation is directly integrated into the learning process.
You develop your sustainability management step by step - accompanied, supported and with the aim of anchoring it sustainably in your organisation.
